Antihero

Greetings!

Look, I'm very tired at the moment, and things really don't make sense to me because of said tiredness. As such, I will not be held responsible for any comics I post over the next week (mainly because you can't hold me responsible if you can't catch me... mwaha!). It's not even because of the normal reasons (you know, video games, DVDs, stuff like that)...

In other news... OMG_WHAT_THE_HELL_IS_THIS?!?!?!?!? ( LINK! )

Hi again

Happy belated new comic, everone! I'm sorry It's up late and everything, but I have a sort of good reason for it. You see, because I'm only 18 and still don't have my license, I have to use public transport (you can already see where this is going, huh?). And because pretty much every tafe student has to go to tafe on wednesdays, there was standing room only on the bus this afternoon. Add to this the fact that some idiots up the back of the bus hit the 'bus stopping' button for every freaking stop then the bus got in about a half an hour later than it normally would. Also, this was the next bus after the one I would normally get, so yeah... that's my reason.

Ultimate Showdown... OF DOOM!

Anyway, a friend introduced me to a card game on wednesday called Ultimate Showdown. (Link!). Basically the premise of the game is that you get dealt a certain amount of cards which have nothing more than a picture on it. You then get to make up abilities for said cards in order to try to defeat the other players' cards. You keep going until someone has made something that no-one else can beat, or until there are no cards left to play. Sound Random? It is. It's also sort of like The Oldest Game (Another_Link!) which I told you guys about a while back.

Anyway, the game was only recently released over in America at a ComicCon (I forget which one) which said friend attended and bought a version of, so I'm not sure if it'll be released in Australia at all, but you should be able to buy it over the internet if I've intrigued you.

In other news, I... uh...

Iron Man 2 (Warning; blog may contain traces of geekiness)

So, anyway, I went to see Iron Man 2 recently, which,as I stated in the recent comic, is indeed a kick-ass movie. If only for the fact that it has Mickey Rourke (Yes, that Mickey Rourke) and Scarlett Johansson as Whiplash and The Black Widow respectively.

But what got me is that you can tell that they're setting up for the Avengers movie. They've already one the Hulk and Iron Man movies, and they're soon to be releasing a Thor and Captain America movie (And then an Avengers movie), which are both referenced in Iron Man 2. In Tony Stark's lab is a prototype for Captain America's shield (which he uses to prop up an old pipe... as you do...) and if you want to see the Thor reference, I suggest you wait until the credits have finished...

Tired... so very tired...

Woo, borderline insomnia is fun. NOT. I've had maybe five, six hours sleep over the past couple of nights. It's not that I can't sleep in general, just specifically that I can't get to sleep. I have no solution to this problem, but I can tell you what doesn't work... Staying up for half the night watching The ... of the Dead movies by George Romero. Yeah, don't do that. Especially if you have an overactive imagination like I do. In that case you spend the next few hours planning out how you'd actually survive a zombie apocalypse. It's fun... but it doesn't help with the sleep issue...

Nothing else to report. Move along now...

Oh, and if there ever is a zombie apocalypse, I have some ideas about how to survive that... I'm just sayin'...
