The Almost-Return

So yeah, at the moment I'm on the public library's computer. I haven't quite got a computer up and running yet (Well, I have, but the internet provider is being evil and unco-operative). Hopefully this should be fixed in the next few days. Hopefully.

Also: Casey Haynes is a legend. You've probably seen it. If not, where have you been for the past week? Ask yourself that question. Then go and watch the video. Even if you've already watched it before I said that, I want you to click that link and watch it again.

Why, you ask?

The not-return...

Hey, guys. No, I'm not back from hiatus quite yet. However, I do indeed have news.

It looks like I'll be away for a bit longer because I'm moving house. Unfortunately (Or fortunately, depending on who you are) this means I won't be able to get any of my own comics up for a little bit longer until I get settled up here, so the guest comics will keep coming (I hope) until then...

Hiatus...

Yeah, so I'ma have to go MIA for a week or so, because my Grandmother has just died (The other one. The one who didn't die recently.), so I'm going to be away from home for a little while, and I'll be looking for work up there while I'm at it, so it'll take me a while to either get home or set up my gear if I end up moving up there... I might see if I can get some guest comics going while I'm away, but that'll depend on a number of things, so yeah...

The great re-appearing act

Alrighty then. Sorry I sort of dropped off the radar there for a few days; my grandmother has been sick in hospital and I've been applying for a new job (Which if I get, I'll have to move house) so as you can imagine, my life is pretty hectic at the moment. So that's why there have been a distinct lack of comics lately. In other news; a comic will be up today. Huzzah!

Advertisings and other goings on...

Alright, so I haven’t been able to upload any comics for a while. I apologize, but it’s not my fault. If you’re reading this on Monday, you might wanna check to make sure if I’ve uploaded 2 comics since you last visited, as this is Sunday night (late) and I plan to get Monday’s comic up on schedule (Fingers crossed). But anyways; on with the show!

Yeah, so you may have noticed ads around the site now. This means I'm selling my soul to the metaphorical devil.

Awesome.

In other news: Moon Bloodgood; you have the fakest fake name ever. Even more fake than Gaylord St. James. And he had the- fairly reasonable- excuse of starring primarily in horror movies and... other stuff*.

Ironically, however, this is actually her name. She’s part Korean or something.

Anywho, the reason I bring this up is that I went to see Faster; the latest Dwayne "I dare you to call me The Rock again" Johnson movie, in which she plays one of the two female leads. Seriously. There’s like, two female characters in the entire movie. The movie itself is sort of okay. It's been edited to have scratches and marks through the film in a throwback to 80s action movies, sort of like they did with Planet Terror and Deathproof- the Grindhouse duology- last year? Year before? I'm not sure. The issue I have with this is that I can see this becoming the new 'handheld camera' gimmick** which is now way overdone and not as interesting as it used to be.

As a side-note, one of the villains (Oh yeah... belated spoiler alert, I guess, but it's pretty predictable, so I'm not exactly spoiling altogether that much) is awesome. Again. I mentioned the awesomeness of the villain in The Green Hornet a few weeks ago. Maybe it's just that villains are awesome. It's possible. Anyway. This guy is so awesome that he gives up yoga because he beats it. Yeah. Take that... yoga...ese? Yoga practitioners...? What do you call someone who does yoga, anyway***?

Oh, yeah, and I know I have some new readers and stuff, and I haven't really asked this for a while, but if you know anyone you think would like the comic, if you could spread the word, I'd love that. Kthanxbye.

* Okay, I'm pretty sure it's porn. If not, they're doing a great job of having movies with misleading sounding names... I'm just sayin'.

** [REC], Blair Witch Project, Diary of the Dead... I can keep going if you want?

*** Okay, fine. So a lady who does Yoga is a Yogini and a Man who does Yoga is a Yogi. But as it turns out, there's no term for a group of yoga-peoples... My nomination is a Yogurt. Any seconds?
